Get to know me…

Born and raised in New Zealand, I came to the US with my new husband (from Colorado) 40 years ago. I’ve been a nurse for 35 years and navigated roles in the Emergency Department, local school district, and senior community. Working with diabetics and seniors paved my way to the rewarding field of footcare.

During the Covid lockdown, I saw seniors facing challenges accessing footcare. Armed with determination, I equipped myself to provide them some relief using clippers and a nail file. After Covid, I trained under podiatrist Dr. Julia Overstreet at Rainier Medical Clinic (Issaquah, WA) and thus marked the official start of my footcare career.

I offer home visits, host clinics in facilities, and operate a monthly clinic in Lynnwood. I also assist in training nurses to become foot care specialists at Dr Julia’s clinic and supervise students in my practice. Once a month I work at the Edmonds Waterfront Center as one of the many footcare RN specialists.

I’m blessed with 8 children and 10 grandchildren who all live nearby and enjoy spending my free time with them.
